Crafted by master artisans in the Hatay Province, heirs to a lineage of soap-makers perfecting their noble craft for a dozen centuries, this Aleppo soap is made according to the original hot-process method, preserved without compromise.

A cleanser of rare integrity. Two prized oils slow-cooked, then left to cure for 24 months until the chemistry completes.
The lather is hard won, and through it the skin emerges with a litheness and grows alive.

Full composition & effects.

The Cellar Principle.

The soap maker’s work ends long before maturity, and what remains belongs entirely to time and condition.

The bar is stacked and left for twenty-four months. Moisture recedes slowly, alkalinity softens, and saponification completes itself in repose. Like a wine finding its depth, the bar, with time, becomes denser, milder, and more complete in the qualities of olive and laurel.

  • Olea Europea

Olive trees in town hide behind walls. On the outskirts, their full upward-reaching form may be revealed in a glimpse wherever a courtyard gate is open. Further out, they stand organized and ready. The oil is chartreuse and pours uniform, carrying the full measure of what the olive has to give. The force grows into the finished bar.

  • Laurus Nobilis

Laurus nobilis has been pressed into soap here for over a thousand years. At 20%, it is held in exact measure, leaving the skin clear, composed, and entirely unburdened.
